How Long does it take you to build a website?
The timeline for your project will vary based on the scope. My design process typically takes 4 to 8 weeks, but more complex websites may take longer. I provide a detailed project roadmap to all of my clients after I determine their needs.
What is your Design Process?
We'll begin with a free consultation to determine your needs and whether we're a good fit to work together. Then we'll begin a strategy session and complete a creative brief for your site. After that, I'll present wireframes and a preview of your design and collect your feedback. We'll hold another design review, after which I'll create your website. Finally, you'll have a chance to review your final website layout before it's published.
What happens when the site is finished?
After your site is finished, it's up to you how to proceed. I will never hold your website hostage; it's your website to do with what you want once it's finished. That said, my expertise extends to managing websites as well as designing them, so it is my hope that we will continue to work together!
What platform do you use to build websites?
All of my websites are built in Webflow, a modern website builder that offers unparalleled customization options. If you can imagine it, it can be built in Webflow. The platform includes a powerful CMS and E-commerce functionality. If you're unfamiliar with the platform but would like to manage your own site once it's finished, I also provide training sessions and documentation on how to publish content on your site.
How do you Handle Payments?
When you're ready to move forward, I require a 50% deposit before beginning work, with the remainder due within 14 days of project completion. I accept payments through PayPal, Zelle, and ACH transfer.
Are there any additional costs?
Once your website is finished, there is only a nominal monthly fee for hosting it through Webflow. This varies based on the features your site has, but average costs are between $50-$100 per month. I'll provide an estimated monthly cost for your site after we discuss your needs.
